New and regular STS buses lines will connect Enfidha-Hammamet International Airport to the major “Sahel” touristic cities

The inauguration ceremony of the new regular bus lines of the Sahel Transport Company (STS) connecting the airport to the major coastal touristic cities was organized on Thursday July 11, at the International Airport of Enfidha-Hammamet, under the supervision of the governor of Sousse, in the presence of Bouficha delegate, regional commissioner of transport in Sousse, the general manager of STS, representatives of parliament and civil society, as well as TAV managers and executives.

The Sahel Transport Company (STS) began on Monday, July 1, 2024, the operation of new regular transport services by bus linking the governorates of Mahdia, Monastir, Sousse and Nabeul with all passing through Enfidha-Hammamet International Airport.

The STS company will secure two daily regular trips, each, between the cities of Mahdia and Nabeul, between the cities of Monastir and Menzel Tmim, and between the cities of Sousse and Hammamet, besides one daily regular trip between the cities of Monastir and Hammamet.

All of these new lines will cross Enfidha-Hammamet International Airport which will tremendously contribute to developing and enhancing the transport services and the movement of passengers to and from the airport, and linking it to the major coastal touristic cities.  

The STS company will also increase to eight the number of bus daily trips between Enfidha Hammamet Airport and the city of Enfidha.

On this occasion, TAV Tunisia, the operator of Enfidha Hammamet Airport, would like to extend its appreciations to the ministry of transport and STS company for this good achievement which will contribute to the development of transport and tourism sectors in the region.
