Enfidha-Hammamet International Airport strengthens its economic and social role in the region during the touristic season 2024
Enfidha-Hammamet International Airport has recently witnessed a revival in the level of touristic flights, which its signs began in the last winter season, and which predicts for a promising touristic season for the year 2024, which coincides with the 15th anniversary of the beginning of its operation by TAV Tunisia Company.
Enfidha-Hammamet International Airport, which is considered Tunisia's first and favorite gateway for foreign tourists, during the year 2024, has succeeded in developing more than 15 new destinations and adding more than 15 new routes to previously existing destinations, qualifying it to receive about 1.5 million passengers, thus doubling the number of passengers recorded in year 2023.
In order to keep pace with this development in the number of passengers and the air traffic at the airport, and in order to achieve the highest levels of excellence by providing high-quality services for the benefit of passengers and airlines, and thus contributing to the success of the touristic season, TAV Tunisia, the airport operator, has developed a strategic plan to develop its human resources and the recruitment of around 200 employees between seasonal and permanent largely surpassing its target of 150 employees set for the year of the airport’s 15th anniversary.
Enfidha-Hammamet International Airport will continue to play its economic and social role in the region by developing air traffic, enhancing tourism activity and creating a significant number of jobs.
